Gartex Texprocess India to take place in New Delhi

The Gartex Texprocess India 2019 trade show will run from August 10 to 12 at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi and bring together over 200 companies and 400 brands in the textile and garment manufacturing businesses. 

On Saturday, the Development Commissioner (Handloom) for the Government Ministry of Textiles, Sanjay Rastogi, will inaugurate the first unified edition of Gartex Texprocess India and unveil a denim-wrapped car to highlight India’s denim industry.

As India is the world’s second largest producer of denim textiles, the textile will take centre stage at the event with a Denim Application Zone, which will house the denim car and promote the fabric.

Other focus areas for the event will include an Embroidery Zone and a Garmenting and Apparel Machinery Zone. A number of shows will run concurrently with Gartex Texprocess including the Digitex Show, Fabrics and Trims Show, India Laundry Show, and Denim Show.

The various sections of the exhibition will house a large number of textile and garment manufacturing companies, which will showcase machinery, spares and consumables, raw materials, trimmings and embellishments, logistics, and packaging solutions, according to the event’s press release.

Exhibiting companies include Ramsons, Dupont, Epson, HP, Mouvent, Konica Minolta, Colorjet, Mimaki, Rossari, Orange O Tec, Tajima, Atexco, Kornit Digital, Madeira, Coats India, Mehala, Fabcare, Alliance Laundry, and Maestrelli.

The Denim Show will include three halls dedicated to the textile and will feature brands including Ginni, Oswal, Jindal Textiles, Raymond UCO, Arvind, Reliance, and Creora. A number of talks will also take place including “Denim Talks and Trends” and several talks on “Denim Industry in Line with Circular Fashion”.
