Garment Technology Expo to return to Delhi this May

The Garment Technology Expo will hold its 32nd edition from May 27 to 30 at the NSIC Exhibition Complex in Okhla, New Delhi to showcase textiles from around the world to a business-to-business audience. 

The upcoming edition of the Garment Technology Expo will feature product categories including textiles, woven and printed labels, dyes and chemicals, woven tapes, hangers, plotter papers, raw materials, software solutions, and consulting services among others, the trade show announced on its website. The trade show aims to create networking opportunities between fashion and textile designers and materials manufacturers to boost both domestic and international business in the sector. 
 
This edition, sponsors include the Gujarat Garment Manufacturers Association, the Knitwear and Textile Club, and the Garments Machinery Manufacturers and Suppliers Association among others. The trade show is also supporting the Awdorg Foundation as its philanthropy partner this edition. 

The event describes itself as, “South East Asia's most comprehensive apparel production technology show,” according to its website. The trade show held its first edition in 2001 which welcomed 87 participants and 4,700 trade visitors. The 2020 edition of the trade show recorded over 26,250 trade visitors and included brands from 20 countries.
