Garment Show of India postponed to late July

The Garment Show of India trade show’s upcoming edition has been postponed and will now run from July 27 to 29 at the Noida Expo Centre in Sector 62.

The trade show’s dates were moved further back in July, “due to some unavoidable circumstances,” the organisers announced in a press release on June 28. The event was originally scheduled to run from July 18 to 20. 

Organised by Saina Events and Trade India, the upcoming edition of the Garment Show of India will be its sixth to date. The trade show will feature manufacturers from garmenting hubs including Noida, Gurgaon, Ahmadabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Punjab, Kanpur, Tirupur, Indore, and Meerut among others and draw a crowd of buyers, wholesalers, and apparel sourcers from across India, according to the organisers. 

As well as featuring exhibitor booths, the trade show will include runway shows, seminars, networking opportunities, and a fashion forum to discuss industry trends. A Khadi Pavilion will promote handloom, sustainable weaves as a versatile fabric for brands to use and showcase a range of examples. 

Large-scale retailers which will participate in the trade show include Shoppers Stop, Reliance Retail, Lifestyle, Aditya Birla Group, and Central among others. Featured apparel product categories will span ethnic and western wear, eco-friendly clothing, maternity wear, sportswear, fabric and trims, handbags, leather goods, and retail technology among others.
