Gant’s new fragrance for men, expected to come out this October, will be available to purchase exclusively at the American brand’s standalone stores.

Created by perfumer Pierre Wulff, the fragrance mixes Calabrian lemon, coriander, cinnamon, lavender, white cedar, sandalwood, cypress and black amber. All scents were carefully put together to make people think of the sea and the winds that swirl around the coast.

As for the glass bottle, created by Pierre Dinand, its design and dark-blue colour were also inspired by the nautical world - a theme which had previously been used in the brand’s other fragrances for men, such as Gant Silver or Gant Adventure. According to the brand, the shape of the bottle reminds of “wicker baskets that cargo ships in the old days used to transport fragile good.”
