GNFC strengthens personal care segment, launches brand ‘Neo Neem’

The state-run Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GNFC) has strengthened its personal care segment with the launch of its brand ‘Neo Neem’.

The new natural product range will include hand wash, shampoo, face wash, soap, all-purpose oil and hair oil.
 
GNFC also opened its first exclusive outlet for its products called ‘Neo Neem World' in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

Commenting on the launch, MS Dagur GNFC managing director in a statement said: “Brand Neo Neem is created after studying changing consumer aspirations. We recently took brand Neo Neem to an international exhibition at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The overwhelming response that consumers gave us has filled us with pride.”
 
Gujarat chief secretary JN Singh added: “It is the need of the hour to develop, promote and use natural products. We are all aware of the benefits of neem. Neo Neem Project is an effort to modernise the neem application and present it in a consumer-friendly form.”
 
GNFC had entered the natural personal care segment in 2018 and targeting to generate revenue of Rs 500 crore ($69.8 million) over the next 2 years.
 
GNFC’s new brand will be sold through physical outlets and leading e-commerce websites like Flipkart, Snapdeal, and Shopclues among others.
