GJEPC to hold first plain gold jewellery virtual buyer-seller meet

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council will hold its first virtual buyer-seller meet for plain gold jewellery from September 21 to 24, featuring 10 sellers and 10 buyers.

 
Buyers scheduled to attend the upcoming online event include businesses from the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain, the GJEPC announced on its website. The Indian businesses scheduled to take part are Shineshilpi Jewellers Pvt. Ltd., Durga Chain, Unique Chains Pvt. Ltd., , Senco Gold Limited, Chokshi Vachhraj Makanji & Co., Hasmukh Parekh Jewellers, Jewel India Pvt. Ltd., AB Jewels Private Limited, and RK Jewels.
 
The GJEPC had held it first-ever virtual buyer-seller meet, which was for loose diamonds, at the beginning of September. The organisation plans to hold a number of themed online buyer seller meets this season with other categories including platinum jewellery; gold studded jewellery; mass produced diamond studded jewellery; silver and fashion jewellery; and coloured gemstones with dates to be announced.

The online trade show will feature product search, live product viewing, and virtual video meetings designed to facilitate networking between buyers and sellers.

“The GJEPC will also provide a product catalogue with up to 40 product images, three-camera set-up, and interpreters (optional),” the GJEPC announced on its website.
