GJEPC hosts Signet Jewelers delegates in India

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council hosted a team of five delegates from global jewellery retail giant Signet Jewelers at its offices to discuss the diamond jewellery industry.

The GJEPC held a meeting and and welcome session for the Signet Jewelers delegation at its head office in Mumbai, the organisation announced on Facebook on April 23. The Signet Jewelers delegation included the business’ CEO Virginia Drosos, Kay and Zales president and Signet Jewelers chief marketing officer Jamie Singleton, chief financial strategy and services officer Joan Hilson, chief diamond officer Roie Edelman, and global strategic sourcing vice president Georg Leifheit.
 
Signet Jewelers was previously named Ratner Group and the business is domiciled in Bermuda while being headquartered in Ohio, US. The business is one of the world’s largest diamond jewellery retailers and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. 

Jewellery brands run by Signet Jewelers include Kay Jewelers, Zales, Jared, Banter by Piercing Pagoda, Diamonds Direct, Blue Nile, JamesAllen, Rocksbox, Peoples Jewellers, and H. At an investor event last Tuesday, Signet Jewelers issued a positive outlook and raised its medium term revenue target to between $9 billion and $10 billion from $9 billion previously, Seeking Alpha reported.
