GIA holds Grand Abhushanam jewellery trade show in Vijayawada

The business-to-business jewellery sourcing fair, Grand Abhushanam, 2019 took place in Vijayawada from December 20 to 21 at Labbipet’s SS Convention Centre, to facilitate business networking in Andhra Pradesh.

 
The Gemological Institute of America, India hosted the recent trade show and the All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council organised it. The event describes itself as one of the largest business-to-business jewellery fairs in Andhra Pradesh and saw jewellery businesses from across the region come to source stock from manufacturers for domestic and international sale.  
 
The GIA, which also participated in the fair at booth 62, showcased its latest laboratory offerings including its most recent GIA Diamond Origin Report. The organisation also gave a live demonstration of its 'GIA iD100' gem testing device and promoted its laboratory services and educational programmes to visitors.

The GIA has participated in and organised a large number of gem and jewellery trade shows this season. The organisation recently took part in the JewelNet Expo in Zirakpur from December 21 to 23, the Jaipur Jewellery Show from December 20 to 23, and the Surat Sparkle Gems and Jewellery Exhibition from December 13 to 16.
