The business aims to use its new capital to acquire more brands, it said in a statement, the Press Trust of India reported. The funding comes from a mix of new investors including Winter Capital, Venture Catalysts, 9Unicorns, Oxyzo, and Vivriti Capital and the majority of its existing investors.

“We will continue to acquire high potential D2C brands across the lifestyle segments and scale them to huge outcomes, said Rishi Vasudev, G.O.A.T Brand Labs’ CEO and co-founder, ET Bureau reported.

The funding injection follows on from the $36 million the business raised in July 2021 for its first funding round. The initial funding round had seen participation from businesses including Flipkart Ventures, Tiger Capital, Nordstar, and Mayfield among others.

To date, G.O.A.T Brand Labs has acquired 15 Indian D2C brands including fashion jewellery brand Voylla, beauty and skincare brand Nutriglow, children’s wear brand Frangipani, and ethnic wear brand TrueBrowns, which has a strong focus on size inclusivity, among others.
