Future Lifestyle Fashions net profit drops 8 percent to Rs 25 crore

Future Lifestyle Fashions Ltd (FLFL) saw its net profit plummet 8 percent to Rs 25 crore ($3.7 million) for the first quarter ended June 30, 2019, as against Rs 27 crore it had reported during the same period last fiscal.

The company’s revenue during the April-June period rose 17 percent to Rs 1,551 crore as compared to Rs 1,328 crore it had reported during the last financial year.
 
Future Lifestyle Fashions strengthened its retail presence during the quarter with the addition of 3 Central stores, 6 Brand Factory stores, and two stores for its plus-size brand ‘All’. The company also closed two Brand Factory stores during the period.

FLFL is India’s largest integrated fashion company with a diversified portfolio spanning 30 fashion brands (both company-owned and licensed) such as Lee Cooper, Indigo Nation, Jealous 21, Bare and All among others.
 
FLFL retails through over 400 stores spread over 6 million square feet that comprise company operated chains Central and Brand Factory, EBOs, department stores, and multi-brand outlets.
