The company will now hold its annual general meeting which was delayed due to legal and financial issues before the end of the year.

“FLFL has received a letter from the Registrar of Companies – Mumbai, granting an extension for a period of three months for holding the AGM till December 31, 2022. Accordingly, the aforesaid Annual General Meeting of the Company would be held within the extended timeline,” the company said in a statement.

FLFL was part of 19 group companies operating in retail, wholesale, logistics and warehousing segments, which were supposed to be transferred by Kishore Biyani-led Future Group to Reliance Retail as part of a Rs 24,713 crore deal announced in August 2020.

However, the deal did not go through as creditors of numerous entities voted against the deal resulting in financial and legal issues for the fashion retailer.

FLFL has in-house retail chains Central and Brand Factory, exclusive brand outlets and other multi-brand outlets housing apparel labels including Lee Copper, Champion, Indigo Nation, Giovani, John Miller, Scullers, Converse, and Urbana among others.
