Future Group strengthens Central store network in Kolkata

Future Lifestyle Fashions Limited, part of Future Group has strengthened its retail presence in the state of West Bengal with the opening of its second Central store in the city of Kolkata.
 

The new Central store located at Jawahar Lal Nehru Road, Esplanade is spread across 50,000 square feet and four floors and will house over 500 high-end brands across categories including apparels, cosmetics, fragrances, eyewear, watches, accessories, sportswear, and more.
 
Vishnu Prasad, CEO, Central said, “We are really excited to launch our 2nd store in the City of Joy. Metro Central defines the best of both the worlds in terms of fashion, choice, culture, and sensitivity.

FLFL reported a net profit Rs 55 crore ($7.7 million) and revenue of Rs 1,616 crore for the third quarter with strong performances by its Central stores across India.
 
At present, there are 44 Central stores present in 25 cities operating over 3 million square feet of retail space across India.
