Future Consumer launches ThinkSkin, eyes Rs 100 crore revenue by 2020

Future Consumer Limited (FCL) has launched its personal care brand ThinkSkin with a braille friendly packaging in the Indian market and is expecting to generate revenue of around Rs 100 crore (approx $14.4 million) in the next two years.

The company will be diversifying the brand with the addition of new products in the coming months. ThinkSkin currently offers only body washes under the brand.
 
ThinkSkin is also banking on technology and packaging to drive sales of their products and plans to launch various different products with unique packaging in the coming markets.

Speaking about introducing innovative packaging, Ashni Biyani, managing director, Future Consumer Limited, in a statement said, “As an FMCG 2.0 company, we offer innovative products that make life easier for our consumers. Braille packaging is a small step towards assisting the visually impaired in their daily routine. We will soon introduce never-seen-before innovation in product and packaging that will take consumer experience to the next level.”
 
Keshav Biyani, head – home and personal care, Future Consumer Limited said, “Advancements in technology gives us an opportunity to experiment not only with the core product but also with the packaging. In the months to come, consumers will experience products that will have a unique differentiation from what is currently available in the market.”
 
Future Consumer is a part of Future Group operating in food and FMCG space with 27 brands in over 65 categories.
