After teasing several jewellery designs in November, 2021, Jodi has launched its first full jewellery collection on its e-commerce store and in its recently opened Pune studio-store, the brand announced on Facebook. The brand’s maiden jewellery collection is inspired by travel and Indian heritage crafts and designs range from lightweight pieces for everyday wear to bold statement chokers and hoop earrings.

The brand developed the motifs in its first jewellery collection by interpreting block prints from textiles used in its clothing collections, Vogue India reported. Other inspirations for the new line include friends and family connected to the brand and the idea of creating keepsakes which could be passed down through generations.

Notable items from the jewellery line include a ‘Sadhu’ necklace featuring delicate green beads and gold flowers and ‘Dakota’ pendant which resembles a 1970s medallion. Bolder pieces include a pair of coiled hoops featuring green gems and a ‘heart choker’ which is a modern take on a bridal classic.

Gauri Verma and Karuna Laungani launched Jodi as a women’s ready-to-wear brand in 2014. In 2019, the brand stepped into menswear and in 2020 it launched a homeware line. The Pune-based brand is known for its bright, whimsical prints and relaxed, feminine aesthetic.
