A brand ambassador for luxury watchmaker Piaget since June 2015, French ballerina Dorothée Gilbert shines on stage with her natural grace and elegance. But that doesn't stop the dancer from rocking high-glam looks when taking a break from the ballet. Relaxnews caught up with the prima ballerina to find out what fashion and beauty essentials will be slipping into her suitcase this summer, and what vacay make-up looks the season has in store. Beachwear, casual or glamorous? What's your go-to look when you're on vacation?
Beach and glamour! On holiday, I like to wear light, flowing dresses, which make for a chic look about town while keeping options open for a last-minute trip to the beach.

What are your fashion essentials for summer getaways?
An Eres or Chloé dress, espadrilles and an Eres swimsuit.

What accessories do you always take with you on vacation?
Piaget Possession bangle bracelets, my Persol sunglasses and a wide-brimmed Borsalino hat.

What is your holiday beauty regimen?
Keep skin well hydrated after a day in the sun with a Lancôme body cream, Shu Uemura Absolue oil for my hair, and Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream for my lips. And, finally, a water facial mist with rose, like the one from Shu Uemura.

What are your favorite makeup looks for day and night?
No makeup during the day on holiday, or perhaps my eyelash curlers and a Shu Uemura basic waterproof mascara. For the evening, a touch of Guerlain Terracotta and Dior 999 lipstick.

Do you have a particular holiday anecdote or memory to share?
A memory, yes. My daughter's first summer with my husband in Florence. There was a wonderful atmosphere and I remember her laugh when we took her for a dip in the hotel pool!
