After seven years in charge as CEO of L’Oréal Canada, Frank Kollmar has been recently appointed deputy managing director of the global beauty giant’s Active Cosmetics division. The division's brand portfolio includes La Roche Posay, Vichy and CeraVe. In Q1 2021, its sales were worth €1.023 billion, equivalent to a 28.7% increase.

Kollmar joined L’Oréal Canada in 1999. He was appointed managing director of the Active Cosmetics Division of L'Oréal Canada in 2001, and in 2003 he became managing director of Vichy in Germany. Four years later, Kollmar took charge of the group's consumer goods division in Austria, and then in 2006 of beauty brands Garnier-Maybelline in Germany. In June 2011, he returned to Canada to assume the post of managing director of the consumer goods division, before being appointed CEO in February 2014.

In Canada, Kollmar has been succeeded as CEO by An Verhulst-Santos, formerly president of L’Oréal Brazil.
