Fragrance brand Ekam to open 35 stores in next three years

Ekam, a leading home fragrance and personal care brand of The Manipal Group (TMG), will be expanding its physical network in the country by opening 35 stores over the next three years, said a company official.
 

The brand recently opened its second retail outlet in Mangalore, on the fifth floor of the popular City Centre Mall. Ekam had entered the offline market by opening its first retail outlet at Phoenix Marketcity Mall, Bangalore.
 
Gautham Pai,MD of The Manipal Group, said in a statement: “The demand for our products from different parts of India has been quite significant, and this has propelled us to make ourselves more accessible. We plan to open around 35 Ekam stores across ten tier 1 and 2 cities, in the next three years.”

Commenting on the store launch, Vijay Kaniyar, Business Head at Ekam, said “We are very proud to launch our store in Mangalore since our headquarters are here. We believe that the store will enable us to reinforce our presence and strengthen our foothold in coastal Karnataka. We hope that consumers will support us with a sense of pride, given that Ekam is manufactured on home ground (Baikampady, Mangalore).”
 
Ekam is an affordable luxury brand for home fragrances and personal care, which are manufactured by Primacy Global Enterprises Private Limited (PGEPL), which is a part of ‘The Manipal Group’.
 
Ekam brand is currently available in 250 retail stores across 13 states. The products are also available through ekamonline.com and other e-commerce websites.
