Fossil launches Fossil Q smartwatches in India
Fossil has introduced two new kinds of smartwatch to the Indian market, Touchscreen smartwatches and Hybrid smartwatches as part of its Fossil Q range.
Fossil has launched its new range from its Fossil Q smartwatch concept in India across a number of multi-brand e-commerce platforms. The Touchscreen smartwatches have a modern “tech” look while the Hybrid smartwatches have the outward appearance of a regular analogue watch but have built-in smartwatch capabilities.
One of the models that has been launched in India includes the Fossil Hybrid Smartwatch-Q, a battery-powered Hybrid smartwatch that comes in rose gold and is compatible with both Android and Ios (Apple) systems. The Fossil Venture Analog-Digital Black Dial Women’s Watch and a number of other models have also been launched.
Fossil partnered with Reliance Retail’s Reliance Digital in November 2017 to expand its presence in India. The partnership saw Fossil launch its first smartwatches and since then the brand has launched more digital watch lines in the Indian market. The brand also launched a range of workwear themed accessories this summer.
The brand has also just launched an advertising campaign with Fatima Sana Shaikh and Varun Dhawan. The campaign is for the launch of Fossil’s autumn/winter collection of watches which are available across a number of multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Lifestyle and Shoppers Stop. The new brand ambassadors will star in a series of videos where they discuss their lives out of the spotlight.
