Fossil Group launches Gen 4 smartwatches in India
Fossil Group is looking to gain a significant share of the smartwatches market in India with the launch of its next generation of smartwatches across its brands.
Fossil Group has launched its Gen 4 smartwatches for its brands Fossil, Skagen, Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, and Diesel.
Commenting on the launch, Johnson Verghese, managing director, in a statement said, "With the launch of next generation of smartwatches, we have amplified the technological features on the wrist while maintaining our aesthetically fashioned designs.”
Gautam Sharma, vice president brand strategy for the APAC region added, “Since our entry into the smartwatch market three years ago, it has been Fossil's mission to meld technology and design. 2018 has been our biggest leap so far: by adding significant features in terms of technology, without compromising our design ethos.”
Fossil has partnered with Reliance Retail’s Reliance Digital to expand its presence in the smartwatches segment in the Indian market.
The US-based brand currently has 18 exclusive brand outlets in the country and is also present in over 160 multi-brand department stores and in over 500 multi-brand retail outlets across India. The brand also has a strong online presence and is available of all leading e-commerce platforms.
