Fossil expands portfolio in India with launch of jewellery line
Fossil, an American lifestyle brand, has strengthened its product portfolio in the Indian market with the launch of its premium affordable jewellery line in the country.
The new jewellery collection from Fossil includes necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, among others. The new collections range from Rs 2,295 ($30) to Rs 5,295.
Fossil is banking on its affordability to boost its jewellery sales in the country during the upcoming festive season in India. The collections will be available at Fossil’s retail stores, website and Shoppers Stop.
Talking about the debut of Fossil’s jewellery line in India, Johnson Verghese, managing director at Fossil Group India, in a statement said: “Over the years, our customers in India have enjoyed our unique global fashion & lifestyle offerings across categories. At Fossil, we have always laid emphasis on intricate craftsmanship and quality material when it comes to creating accessories. Now, with the addition of our jewelry line, we further expand our portfolio to cater to our customers’ growing preferences.”
The U.S.-based brand currently has over 20 exclusive-brand outlets in the country, and is also present in over 160 multi-brand department stores and in over 500 multi-brand retail outlets across India. The brand also has a strong online presence and is available on all leading e-commerce platforms.
