Former Victoria’s Secret president, CEO Sharen Jester Turney joins Clovia as advisor

Indian women’s innerwear and loungewear brand Clovia has announced the appointment of former Victoria’s Secret president and CEO Sharen Jester Turney as an advisor to the company.

Clovia is banking on Turney’s global expertise in working with international brands to help it scale greater heights and tap overseas markets by associating with international brands.
 
Commenting on Jester’s association, Pankaj Vermani, CEO at Clovia, in a statement said: “As Clovia continues to scale the business to the next level, we will benefit exponentially from Sharen’s rich experience of building products, customer-centric processes, and most importantly, brands that transcend borders and extend beyond the lingerie category. We are looking forward to having her support across functions of business strategy, category expansion like personal care, market insights, strengthening of brand positioning and experience, and international expansion.”

Speaking on her alliance with Clovia, Sharen Jester Turney added: “The growth opportunity in front of Clovia is vast, which makes me excited to be a part of the Clovia team. Their zeal and constant innovation in technology and product expansion will soon help them in expanding their footprint to the International market.”
 
Clovia had recently diversified its portfolio with its entry into the personal care space with the launch of Botaniqa. Clovia currently has around 15 exclusive stores and is available in around 250 multi-brand outlets and shop-in-shops, apart from e-commerce platforms.
