Forevermark strengthens retail presence in partnership with Fortofino
Forevermark, the diamond brand from the De Beers Group, in partnership with Fortofino has strengthened its retail presence in North India with the addition of three new stores.
The brand saw the opening of Forevermark stores in Ludhiana, Jammu, and Ambala. This is the brand’s second store in Jammu, while Ludhiana and Ambala are new markets.
Commenting on the partnership, Sanjeev Saraf chairman and managing director at Fortofino, in a statement said: “We have been associated with Forevermark for two years now with our stores in Jammu and Chandigarh. With the success in both these cities, we are launching three more stores along with Forevermark; one being the exclusive Forevermark Boutique, while the other two are offering the brand to our customers in our stores in Jammu and Ambala.”
Sachin Jain, managing director at De Beers India added: “After the successful store launches with Fortofino, we have come together to recreate this experience by launching three stores for our consumers in the North. This is yet another huge milestone for us to achieve along with our trusted retailer and we look forward to offering the best jewellery shopping experience to consumers in Jammu, Ambala, and Ludhiana.”
Forevermark sees huge potential for growth in the Indian market, despite the Covid-19 disruptions and plans to further expand with retailers across India.
India represented one of Forevermark’s swiftest growing markets in 2019, where it maintained 30% year-on-year growth. India also overtook the U.S. and China as the number one market for the business, in terms of volume.
