Footwear brand Neeman’s plans international expansion
Sustainable footwear brand Neeman’s is planning to enter international markets later this year as it continues India expansion through partnerships with retailers and e-commerce platforms.
The brand sees huge potential for growth in the international markets and will utilise its recent funding to explore markets like the U.S., some regions of Europe, and West Asia.
Neeman’s plans to strengthen its India presence by partnering with large format stores and expects to be present in over 100 stores across India in the coming months.
“The international foray is expected by December-end and talks have begun regarding the same. We see the scope of these products in the international market. Plus, we do not have any direct competition across brands yet. We remain adequately funded for new product development too,” Taran Chhabra co-founder of Neeman’s told BusinessLine.
“We have started our offline presence through some retailers in South India. Over the next 6-8-month period, we would be looking at a presence in 100 such large format stores,” Chhabra added.
Neeman’s is an eco-friendly merino shoe that sells classic sneakers, jogging shoes, and loafers, in a range of colours. It is endorsed by celebrities like Bhumi Pednekar, Samantha Prabhu, and Mandira Bedi.
