Mirqurius, a premium footwear brand from Paris is planning to enter the lucrative Indian footwear market to boost and looking for partners for its India entry.

Mirqurius currently sells Parisian silhouettes exclusively online with India contributing up to 15 percent to the brand’s overall sales.
 
The brand is in talks with distributors and fashion malls in India to enter the brick and mortar space in order to enhance its brand visibility in the country.

“We have a lot of Mirqurius addicts in India who represents 15 percent of our sales. We are aiming to extend our brand to the Indian market through distributors and fashion malls as Lulu International Shopping Mall and Phoenix Market City by offering some limited run ranges that will definitely match with Indian market standards”, a Mirqurius spokesperson told FashionNetwork.com.
 
“Indian people represent 30 percent of our followers online and it is a very important market for us. We will soon be launching digital marketing campaigns to further grow our visibility in India,” he added.
 
The branded footwear market in India is currently estimated at Rs 20,000 crore, 60 percent of which is men’s segment, according to data from consulting firm KPMG.
 
To tap this booming segment, Mirqurius has recently introduced its new collection ‘Denoyez Runner’ which has been inspired by a well-known Parisian street. The luxury collection is priced at Rs 16,300 ($239) per pair. Mirqurius will be offering free shipping from Paris to India.
