Flipkart has bolstered its supply chain in Haryana ahead of the festive season

Flipkart reported that the new centres will enable it to provide augmented support to over 13,000 Haryana-based sellers, Asian News International reported. This will enable the sellers to reach lakhs of new customers across India, according to the business.

The new logistics centres will also create a total of around 12,000 direct and indirect jobs in the state, part of the Walmart-owned business’ plan to create jobs across India. By enabling sellers to serve a greater number of customers with faster delivery times, this expanded supply chain will contribute to economic growth in the region, according to Flipkart.

The new facilities are located in Sankpa, Yakubpur, Kulana, and Rewari in Haryana. The facilities have a total area of more than 12 lakh square feet as well as a storage capacity of over 30 lakh cubic feet. They are designed to serve sellers with products in categories including clothing, electronics, furniture, and and large appliances among others.
