Flipkart campaign launches with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor

Flipkart has launched its fourth “India Ka Fashion Capital” campaign with Bollywood celebrity couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as the business focuses on its fashion segment for growth.
As well as collaborating with Bhatt and Kapoor again, Flipkart will collaborate with social media influencers across India who will be tasked with educating shoppers on how to make stress-free fashion choices. The campaign aims to reduce consumer fears about online shopping and grow the customer base of its fashion segment. The inclusion of influencers from different locations across the country shows Flipkart’s local focus.
“We are excited to launch the fourth edition of India Ka Fashion Capital with Ranbir and Alia,” said Flipkart’s vice president and marketing head Vikas Gupta, Indian Television reported. “They are not only fine actors, but also hugely popular style icons. While the previous three editions established Flipkart as India’s most preferred destination for trendy and affordable fashion, our research indicated that online fashion purchases are still impacted by certain inhibitions. Through this latest campaign and out proposition of ‘Don’t stress, Karo impress,’ we are confident that we will help address consumer concerns and encourage them to interact with our platforms.”
Along with advertisements on TV and across various digital platforms, the campaign will also feature curated digital content and promotional offers on fashion products until December 15. Bhatt and Kapoor will also take part in interactive social media challenges and videos discussing Flipkart fashion for the campaign.
