Flexnest expands portfolio with launch athleisure clothing
Direct-to-consumer fitness brand Flexnest has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its new range of athleisure wear.
The initial portfolio of Flexnest’s athleisure wear includes a wide range of leggings, sports bras, capris, and vests.
The brand is banking on its affordable price range of Rs 1,299 to Rs 1,999 ($24) to drive sales of its newly launched product range.
Commenting on the launch of athleisure wear, Rhea Singh Anand, co-founder of Flexnest in a statement said, “After the phenomenal response as a fitness brand since our inception 2 years ago, we now want to focus on growing further with the launch of our activewear. The size of the segment is over Rs 54,000 crore and growing rapidly and we are all set to enter the category and provide the Indian consumers an unmatched product offering.”
“The athleisure category is one of the fastest growing categories in India, growing at 15-20 percent year-on-year. Being a millennial-driven trend, athleisure is growing at a phenomenal rate not only in urban cities but also in the tier 2 and 3 regions,” Anand added.
Founded in 2021, Flexnest has a strong presence in the fitness gear segment and claims to have a user base of over 70,000 people. The brand sells through its website.
