Fit and Glow to expand offline with Wow Skin Science

Fit and Glow Healthcare and its beauty and personal care brand Wow Skin Science aims to expand offline and open brick-and-mortar stores in all Indian metros in late 2019. The brand is also eyeing revenue of Rs 250 crore ($37.6 million).

Fit and Glow’s co-founder Manish Chowdhary told IndiaRetailing the the brand will expand offline this year and aims to have a presence in all Indian metros.

“The reason we are looking at expanding offline retail space is to allow our consumers a chance to touch, feel and sample the products, so that they can make an informed purchase,” said Chowdhary.

“We will be opening our stores both in malls and high-streets. The average size of our store will be around 200-300 sq. ft.” 

The business aims to use artificial intelligence data garnered from its online sales to help it replicate the same growth offline. 

They brand currently gets 95 percent of sales online and it retails on a large number of multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Nykaa, Snapdeal, Flipkart, Paytm, BigBasket, and Myntra. The brand currently has an offline presence in multi-brand stores such as Nature’s Basket and Health & Glow in cities including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

The business reported a revenue total of Rs 140 crore in the 2019 financial year and aims to reach a total of Rs 1250 crore in the current 2020 financial year. The brand’s best selling product online is its Apple Cider Shampoo and the brand has reached “best seller” status on Amazon U.S.
