Fashion Tech Week will run until May 5 and will explore tech innovations including on-demand manufacturing, AI-driven points of sale, 3D technology, and self-check-out systems among others, the event organisers announced on Facebook. The event aims to bring together entrepreneurs from industries ranging from fashion to personal care and beyond.

“The event puts forth a clear vision of making the fashion retailers brands and manufacturers tech-enabled to deliver innovation with speed throughout the supply chain – from farm to consumer,” the event organisers announced in a statement. “Fashion Tech Week offers a common platform for the fashion entrepreneurs where they can be a part of technology demonstration, showcase innovations, share knowledge, interact with peers, and help the fashion industry make [itself] visibly digitalised.”

The event will feature eight different experiential zones which will showcase numerous technologies and how they can ameliorate the fashion supply chain. Over 25 workshops featuring over 75 industry professionals will take place across the zones and the event organisers expect around 2,000 visitors, All Events India reported.
