Fila opens its first store in Pune
After entering the city of Mumbai recently, Fila has further expanded its retail presence with the opening of its first store in the city of Pune. This is Fila’s third store in the city of Maharashtra in a less than a month.
The new heritage store is located at Viman Nagar at the Phoenix Market City mall Pune and spread over an area of 1,068 square-feet. The store will house the latest Fila Heritage autumn/winter 2018 collection.
Talking about the store launch, Rohan Batra, MD of Cravatex Brands Ltd in a statement said, “Quick on the heels of our flagship heritage store launch in Mumbai, we are excited to launch our second store in the young, vibrant city of Pune. With a dominantly cosmopolitan and fashionable student community, Pune seemed like the perfect pit stop on the road to take on the sports fashion segment in India.”
Fila has been expanding rapidly across India and has plans to open flagship stores in the top cities of the country before the end of the current financial year.
Fila, which was launched in Italy in 1911, has a network of over 250 large-format stores across India. Cravatex Brands has the licence to sell Fila products in India and South Asia and also retails the brand on major e-commerce platforms.
