Feronia Fashion Night holds first edition in Jaipur

Feronia Fashion Night held its first ever edition at the Radisson Blu in Jaipur. Four designers presented collections on the runway to raise awareness for the LGBTQ community.

Four designers: Ally Ferguson, Hoshigoru William, Anurag Gupta and Padam Raj Keshri showcased their designs on the runway in Jaipur for the first ever Feronia Fashion Night at the start of the month. The fashion event celebrated Rajasthan’s LGBTQ youth and raised awareness of “third gender and the marginalized LGBTQ community,” according to the event. All models on the runway belong to the transgender community and were celebrated for their diverse talents.

Ally Ferguson from the US is the designer and founder of the brand Seekar. She presented her designs in India for the first time at the event. Anurag Gupta, who has shown at Lakmé Fashion Week, was featured and Padma Raj Keshri came from Ahmedabad to show his knitwear designs for which he is well-known in Bihar.

The event was organised by ReDo Times Pvt Ltd and also featured a Gen Next fashion show for up and coming designers in the area. Guests included the Youth Brand ambassador of the Rajasthan State Government, Paresh Gupta and the brand ambassador of Vicks’ “We Care Campaign”, Gauri Sawant.
