Femina Flaunt plans to enter beauty segment

Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd, newly formed lifestyle division Times Lifestyle Enterprise will be entering the lucrative beauty segment in India through its brand ‘Femina Flaunt’.

The company has strengthened its leadership team ahead of its launch with the appointment of Sandeep Dahiya as the CEO of the new entity and Dinesh Bhat as the chief operating officer.
 
Femina Flaunt will be opening its first company-owned studio in the city of Mumbai in the coming months. The company plans to open over 100 beauty studios over the next five years.

Commenting on its entry into the beauty segment, Vineet Jain, managing director at the Times Group, in a statement said, “Our entry into the beauty segment is in line with the group’s philosophy of continuing to invest in newer and future growth opportunities. We have many legacy brands within the group, like Femina, Filmfare, and Miss India, amongst others, and this venture would explore relevant, sustainable and scalable business models around these brands in the retail & lifestyle space.”
 
Sandeep Dahiya, CEO of Times Lifestyle Enterprise added, “Beauty is an exciting, and a rapidly growing category in India, and we’re confident of making a significant impact in this  category through differentiated service offering, personalized consumer engagement, and best-in-class brand alliances.”
 
Femina Flaunt is available across six categories – apparel, footwear, handbags, accessories, fragrances, and eyewear. Flaunt products are available across Shopper’s Stop outlets, Nykaa.com and Flipkart.com, in addition to other retail stores.
