FDCI partners with Pretture for digital ‘Designer Showroom’
The Fashion Design Council of India has collaborated with Pretture, a cloud app to launch a virtual B2B platform titled ‘Designer Showroom’ at the upcoming Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week (LMIFW) spring/summer 2021 which will be held from October 14 to 18.
The one-of-a-kind virtual Designer Showroom will enable domestic and international buyers to interact with designers virtually and place orders.
On the virtual showroom, designers will have their profile page (virtual stall space), where they can upload their collection images, line sheets, campaign video/imagery, and conduct virtual meetings with their buyers.
Commenting on the initiative, FDCI chairman, Sunil Sethi, in a statement said: “This Designer Showroom in collaboration with Pretture is a step towards what remains the FDCI’s motto ‘Business Happens Here’. The digital transformation of the stalls was of utmost importance, with online the new offline.
