India Couture Week will run from July 22 to 31 at the Taj Palace and a number of offsite locations in New Delhi, the FDCI announced on Facebook. The fashion week will return to a physical format after spending several seasons online due to the pandemic. The event’s main sponsor this season is Lotus Makeup.
“After these two-three years of no physical shows, of course necessity is the mother of invention and we did come up with all the digital shows globally, it was a great experience doing that,” said participating designer Varun Bahl, the FDCI announced on Facebook. “But there’s nothing really better than having an actual show, physical show.”
“For me live show is like a ritual where the magic happens,” said participating designer Rahul Mishra. “So, can't wait to be at the live show this season.”
