FDCI partners with jewellery brand Archana Aggarwal for India Couture Week

The Fashion Design Council of India has partnered with fine jewellery brand Archana Aggarwal for its upcoming edition India Couture Week which will showcase collections by 13 couture brands from Friday.

As India Couture Week celebrates its 15th anniversary, the fashion week is working with Archana Aggarwal this season, the FDCI announced on Facebook. The jewellery brand will accessorise collections by couturiers including Tarun Tahiliani, Anju Modi, Dolly J, Rahul Mishra, JJ Valaya, and Suneet Varma among others. 
 
“I’m looking forward to the 10-days of creative showcasing and equally excited to unveil my new collection in a physical format,” said jewellery designer Archana Aggarwal, the brand announced on Facebook. 

India Couture Week will run from July 22 to 31 at the Taj Palace and a number of offsite locations in New Delhi, the FDCI announced on Facebook. The fashion week will return to a physical format after spending several seasons online due to the pandemic. The event’s main sponsor this season is Lotus Makeup. 
 
“After these two-three years of no physical shows, of course necessity is the mother of invention and we did come up with all the digital shows globally, it was a great experience doing that,” said participating designer Varun Bahl, the FDCI announced on Facebook. “But there’s nothing really better than having an actual show, physical show.”
 
“For me live show is like a ritual where the magic happens,” said participating designer Rahul Mishra. “So, can't wait to be at the live show this season.”
