FDCI Designer Stockroom holds first physical edition in two years on March 27

The Fashion Design Council of India’s Designer Stockroom held its first physical edition in two years on March 27 and brought together over 60 brands for a luxury business-to-customer fashion sale.

Designed to give up-and-coming labels the chance to reach a wider audience, the Designer Stockroom invited the public to discover luxury and bridge-to-luxury labels from across the country on Sunday. The Designer Stockroom had free entry to the public and took place at New Delhi’s Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium at India Gate where the fashion week was located. 
 
Designers participating in the multi-brand exhibition included Nitin Bal Chauhan, Swgt, Abhishek Gupta Benares, Ilk, Khanijo, Nidhi Yasha, Akaaro, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Viam, Saaj by Ankita, Bloni, Bodice, and Notebook among others, the FDCI announced on Facebook. The shopping fair was designed to give shoppers access to their favourite brands at discounted prices and garments and accessories were retailing at up to 70% off. 

The FDCI Designer Stockroom took place on the final day of the first physical edition of joint fashion week FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week.

The event ran in New Delhi from March 23 to March 27 and the runway shows were broadcast live on the organisers’ respective websites and social media accounts.
