Feb 7, 2020
The Fashion Design Council of India will hold its upcoming autumn/winter 2020 edition of Lotus Make-Up India Fashion Week from March 11 to 15, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, with the theme ‘fashion meets art’.

The upcoming edition of LMIFW in New Delhi will explore the relationship between art and fashion, the FDCI announced in a press release.
Designers from across India will showcase their autumn/ winter collections on the runway at the Lotus Make-Up-sponsored event.
“We are delighted to continue our relationship with Lotus Make-up and EbixCash for Autumn-Winter 2020, as we hope to introduce new ways of thinking and celebrate fashion inspired by art,” FDCI chairman Sunil Sethi said in a press release.
“That’s why we have #FashionWearsArt as our overriding theme which will emerge as a melting pot of compelling ideas.”
The fashion week will also bring back the Designer Stockroom initiative where brands can showcase their latest collections at a shopping fair that runs along side the fashion week. Many participating brands will offer clothing at reduced rates and the exhibition will give up-and-coming brands a platform from which to promote their products to customers and industry professionals alike.
The bi-annual fashion week will also feature ‘The Pearl Portfolio’ on March 15 to showcase designs by Pearl Academy fashion students. Brands scheduled to participate in LMIFW will be announced shortly.
