Founded in 2005 to help victims of Hurricane Katrina in the US, Fashion For Relief has since supported many causes. The aim is to bring the fashion industry together to raise as much money as possible to help people affected by natural disasters or humanitarian crises, but also to promote equal opportunity, diversity and inclusiveness.

Having previously been held in cities such as Cannes, New York and Moscow, the Fashion For Relief charity gala will return to London in the fall. It will be hosted by Naomi Campbell, the spokesperson and face of the organization. The gala will take place on September 14, in the middle of London Fashion Week.

As in previous years, the show will start with a cocktail reception, followed by a fashion show and an auction. Guests will then enjoy a gala dinner and a musical performance.

Since its creation, Fashion For Relief has raised no less than 15 million euros to support causes such as the UK flood victims in 2007, the earthquake in Haiti, and the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
