Fashion Connect to hold flea market in Gorakhpur with Bawri Firky

Fashion and lifestyle events business Fashion Connect has partnered with pop-up shopping event Bawri Firky to hold its second flea market in Gorakhpur from January 25 to 26 and showcase sustainable fashion.

 
The two-day night flea market will feature a mix of traditional, ethnic, and western wear with sustainable fashion options, Fashion Connect announced on Facebook. Handicrafts such as poshak clothing and gehna jewellery will also make an appearance at the business-to-customer event which aims to bring together brands from across India. A children’s wear section will also feature and stall bookings are open for brands.
 
The flea market will take place at Paalm Paradise Residences and is sponsored by JCI India, Together We Can, and Mahabir Danwar among others. The event will also feature music, entertainment, and refreshments. 

Bawri Firky held its most recent fashion event in Kolkata at the end of 2019. The event focused on women’s fashion and women-run businesses and featured labels including Limited Edition, Occasions by Renu, Mada Sasa, Rure, Pink Banter, and Sassy Stripes among others. The events business also runs a range of charitable initiatives and recently organised a tree planting drive and a winter clothing distribution event.
