Farida Gupta holds Hyderabad exhibition, Jaipur and Ghaziabad events planned

Farida Gupta launched a pop-up women’s ethnic wear exhibition at the Kalinga Cultural Trust in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on November 28 and will also hold exhibitions in Jaipur and Ghaziabad this winter.

From November 28 to 30, designer Farida Gupta has set up shop in Hyderabad to launch her new collection “Roza” and promote her brand in the city. The event launched the Roza collection on Thursday when it also launched online, according to the brand’s facebook. The pop-up shop runs until November 30 and features a range of clothing from the brand’s current collections.

Roza features simple, feminine silhouettes and a mix of jewel tone and pastel hues made from handloom spun fabric, the brand posted on Facebook. The brand’s “Mehtab” collection, which also launched recently and features at its Hyderabad pop-up, focuses on floral prints with delicate designs featuring on kaftans, kurtas, palazzos, and dupattas among other garments.

Farida Gupta will next travel to Jaipur for a showcase at the Royale Lalit hotel from December 7 to 8. The event will bring Gupta’s collections to Rajasthan for the winter wedding season.

From December 14 to 15, the brand will hold an event in Ghaziabad at the Hotel Abhay Palace. Following that, the brand will also hold showcases in Faridabad from December 20 to 21 at the Samar Grand and in Kolkata from December 27 to 28 at the Birla Academy of Art and Culture.
