Farida Gupta to hold shopping event in Chandigarh

Women’s and men’s ready-to-wear brand Farida Gupta will travel to Chandigarh from April 29 to May 1 for a pop-up shop at the city’s Himachal Bhawan. 

The brand recently launched its latest womenswear collection ‘Raahat’ as “a timeless collection of whites,” the brand announced on Facebook. The collection features minimalist style separates with loose yet neat silhouettes and will feature at the Chandigarh pop-up to give the city’s shoppers their first chance to browse the collection in person.  
 
The Raahat collection launched on the brand’s e-commerce store in the morning on April 21 and also included reissues of certain customer favourite styles. These included blue patterned kurta sets in lightweight cottons. 

The brand also recently stepped into loungewear and launched a line which mixes its signature traditional block printed cotton textiles with relaxed garments intended to be worn at home. The collection features sets with oversized tops and shorts in soft colours including pale pink.
 
Farida Gupta holds numerous pop-up shops across India throughout the year, including in Mumbai and Kochi, to reach shoppers in different locations. Its most recent took place in Gurugram and ran from April 15 to 17 at the city’s Club South Patio.
