Falguni Shane Peacock collaborates with Cocoon Fine Rugs on capsule collection

Husband-and-wife fashion design duo Falguni and Shane Peacock have collaborated with Cocoon Rugs for a line of handmade rugs titled ‘Meraki’ which has launched across Cocoon’s stores. 

Falguni and Shane Peacock have made their debut in the home design segment with the new collaboration. The collection of rugs featuring the duo’s designs now retails from Cocoon stores in Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Jaipur, Cocoon Fine Rugs announced on its Facebook page. 
 
The rugs are handmade from wool and hand-spun silk. Some designs feature abstract, painterly motifs and others are more geometric in design and feature more muted tones. The collection was manufactured in Cocoon’s Jaipur workshop over the course of eight months. 

“This collection is different from all of our other collections, with a personal touch added to every design,” announced Cocoon Fine Rugs on Facebook. The rugs feature messages such as ‘Love you to the moon and back’ and ‘I love you always’.
 
The collection’s name Meraki means “to leave a piece of yourself into your work,” in modern Greek, Cocoon shared on Facebook. This concept became the ethos of the line, according to Cocoon.
