Falguni, Shane Peacock to showcase debut menswear line ‘Louche’ at LFW

The designer duo of Falguni & Shane Peacock will be showcasing their debut menswear collection titled Louche at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer/Resort 2018 edition.
 

Falguni and Shane Peacock are usually known for their heavily embellished and extravagant designs in womenswear. Now with the brand looking to further expand product offerings and retail locations globally, its foray into menswear comes at a right time as there is a lot of demand of designer menswear in the Indian market.
 
The brand will highlight the 70s era through this collection incorporating cultural and social influences from those times into their menswear creations. The collection is targeted millennials and will include suits in light greys along with pastel-pink infused disco sportswear suits, graphic silk bombers and deconstructed shell suits.

"After years of wishful thinking, Falguni Shane Peacock will finally launch their first men's line at Lakme Fashion week," said the designers in a statement.
 
Commenting on the collection the designers said “There will be intricate embroidery along with sumptuous fabrication packed with a palette of pastel pinks and blues spliced with black bruised charcoal, leather jackets, tight trousers and high-shine pompadours, fur-collared jackets and epsom coat in cashmere to the embroidered velvet slippers”.
