Falguni Shane Peacock opens flagship store in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai

Couture label Falguni Shane Peacock opened a second Mumbai flagship store in Kala Ghoda on November 19 with a vintage style interior designed by Gauri Khan.

Falguni Shane Peacock’s new Mumbai flagship store opened on Tuesday to house the brand’s bridal couture, limited-edition womenswear, and menswear. The store is situated in a heritage building and has been designed with a soft yet modern vintage aesthetic. Antique chandeliers, powder pink and dark brown details, and warm lighting compliment the brand’s opulent designs. 

“Mumbai has been our base, and we always wanted to have a store in South Mumbai,” the brand’s co-founder and designer Falguni Peacock told Vogue India about the store launch. “After a search of almost three years, when we saw the place in Kala Ghoda, we fell in love with it. We knew we could bring our dream store vision come true here as the place is a heritage area and beautiful, and just the right kind to go with our label’s aesthetic."

“While designing, it was important for me to make the space functional and not imposing,” interior designer Khan told Vogue India. The store joins the brand’s other Mumbai location in Juhu along with its other two stores in New Delhi and one in Goa. 

Falguni Shane Peacock was launched by the husband and wife design-duo Falguni and Shane Peacock. The brand launched a flagship store in the Ambawata One Complex in Mehrauli in New Delhi in May this year and have dressed a number of international celebrities including Britney Spears, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Beyonce.
