Seeing a significant opportunity for growth with its size-focused line of women’s smart casual wear, FableStreet’s FS Life will expand both online and off this financial year. “Right now, the plan is to grow big in India for the next five years,” said the business’ chief revenue officer Adarsh Sharma, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “We definitely see a bigger role of online to offline trade. Omni-channel will be important for us in the next two years.”

The business had opened a brick-and-mortar store in 2020 in DLF Promenade in New Delhi’s Vasant Kunj but had to close the outlet during the pandemic due to the effects of extended lockdowns. However, a post-pandemic recovery in the retail market has given FableStreet the confidence to expand offline with new vigour.

The brand began as a workwear label, focused on women’s dresses and blazers for the office. During lockdown, the brand diversified its offering as working from home transformed the buying habits of young working women. FableStreet now has a jewellery line named ‘March’ and ethnic and fusion wear line ‘Pink Fort’.
