FabIndia plans to expand personal care market share with Fabessentials
FabIndia plans to expand its market share in the personal care space with its brand Fabessentials. The ethnic wear and lifestyle brand aims to harness the growth potential of the growing Indian skincare market and expand its natural product offering.
Fabessentials now retails 100 products in categories comprising ‘Face’, ‘Body’, ‘Hair’, ‘Aromatherapy’, and ‘Gift Sets’, according to the brand’s website. The brand’s catchphrase is “kindness is essential” and Fabessentials products contain natural ingredients, according to the brand.
“The blend of tradition with contemporary strikes a fantastic synergy with Biome Lifesciences and FabIndia bringing science and nature into symphony,” FabIndia Group company Biome Lifesciences, Fabessentials’ managing director Sania Arora Jain told Indian Retailer. “As an endeavour, we have combined the best of both worlds with Indian ingredients and modern science considering ‘Nature’ our oasis as opposed to a geographical distinction that most brands create.”
FabIndia first launched Fabessentials in December, 2021 with a selection of personal care products designed to promote self care. The brand has gone on to diversify Fabessentials’ product offering and create dedicated spaces for the brand within FabIndia stores across the country and on its e-commerce store.
“We plan to expand our product offerings within the clean beauty vertical and include more products with efficacy and quality at its core, we seek to leverage our market position and understand the preferences of our loyal customer base to develop quality products, while ensuring that our brand remains distinctive and well differentiated,” said Arora.
