Fabindia opens its first experience centre in Kerala

Indian lifestyle retailer has strengthened its presence in the southern region of India with the opening of its first experience centre in the state of Kerala.
 

The new store is located at Kowdiarin the city of Trivandrum and spread across approximately 7,065 square feet. It will sell the brand’s range of Indian ethnic wear, Indian-style causal wear, accessories, and homeware.
 
Fabindia experience centre in Kerala also has a FabCafé, wellness centre, an interior design studio and an alteration studio.

Commenting on the store launch, Viney Singh, managing director at Fabindia, in a statement said, “We are delighted to open an Experience Center in Trivandrum. This format has been very well received in other cities and we look forward to making the same holistic experience that extends from Fabcafe to the Fabindia offering available to our customers in Trivandrum as well.”
 
Fabindia’s experience centre in Trivandrum is the company’s 15th in the country. It already has experience Centres in Delhi, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Bombay, Amritsar and Pune.
 
Fabindia has earmarked an investment of Rs 100 crore ($14 million) on its retail expansion in the country which includes the opening of its Fabindia experience centres.
