FabIndia opens first store in Aizawl

FabIndia has opened its first store in Aizawl, the state capital of Mizoram. The ethnic wear and lifestyle brand’s new brick-and-mortar outlet houses its clothing, homeware, jewellery, and personal care lines.

The new store has opened its doors in Aizawl’s Dawrpui district and the outlet has dedicated sections for FabIndia’s menswear, womenswear, and children’s wear lines with its latest collections for the festive season as well as casual wear options. The store also has a fashion jewellery segment, personal care segment for its skincare and beauty products, homeware segment, and segments for lighting, tableware, curtains, and organic foods for a full lifestyle offering.

“Your favourite shopping destination just got a new address, just in time for the festivities at M/s Pemarin Jena Business, Millennium Centre,” FabIndia announced on Facebook. “Come and explore everything fab and have an experience like never before.”

FabIndia, which has opened a number of stores this autumn, has also increased its focus on sustainable product lines. The brand recently launched its ‘Tarini Collection’ of homeware and accessories which are handwoven by the brand’s artisans. The products are made using polypropylene with acrylic yarn embroidery, sustainably sourced from cement bags procured from scrap shops which are cleaned and processed.
