Fabindia launches new fusion brand FabNu
Ethnic wear and lifestyle brand Fabindia has launched a new fusion style womenswear line named ‘FabNu’ to cater to younger customers with a global perspective.
FabNu launched with a dedicated segment on Fabindia’s e-commerce store and its slogan ‘Unapologetically You’, the brand announced on Facebook. The new clothing line is part of Fabindia’s push towards reaching younger consumers who are looking for casual, versatile, and free-spirited styles.
The brand launched with four collections: ‘Indie Dreams’, ‘Flashback’, ‘Conversation Starter’, and ‘Folkadelic’. Taking Fabindia’s signature traditional style printed cotton, FabNu reimagines the textiles as strappy summer dresses, loungewear, and relaxed-style matching sets.
Notable items include cotton trousers with elastic at the ankles to mimic sweatpants, wrap halter tops, and peter-pan collar dresses.
The line’s pricing begins at Rs 199 ($2.68) for homeware and Rs 590 for womenswear and footwear and accessories such as shawls are also available in matching textiles. Stripes, checks, and batik prints feature in a wide range of hues along with abstract prints and these designs are also reflected in FabNu’s homeware range including candles, mugs, linens, and tableware.
Along with its latest launch, Fabindia has been running a number of events to take advantage of eased lockdown restrictions. The brand recently held live music concerts at its space in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi and also launched a fashion film for its latest collection ‘Rimjhim’.
