Fabindia, Hidesign launch their first joint store in Chennai

Fabindia and Hidesign have joined hands to launch their first-ever joint location store at Pondy Bazaar, T Nagar, in the city of Chennai.
 

Fabindia will house its apparel and select home and lifestyle offerings at the store, while Hidesign will retail its signature premium leather bags and accessories.
 
The store additionally will offer a customisation station, which allows one to personalise their buys from an extensive range of products.

The synergies between the two home-grown Indian brands is expected to help both the brands strengthen their presence in the Indian market.
 
Talking about the new venture, Dilip Kapur, founder and president at Hidesign, in a statement said: “Hidesign and Fabindia have discussed the benefits of innovative and genuinely Indian brands to come together to create a community that supports each other. This is a strong first step towards implementing collaboration that will encourage similar brands to come together."

With the opening of this new joint store, Hidesign has now 81 stores in the country, while for Fabindia, this the 316th across the country.
