Fabindia appoints Aditya Ghosh as board member

Ethnic fashion and lifestyle brand Fabindia has appointed Aditya Ghosh as a member on the company’s board of directors. As a board member, Ghosh will be guiding the management teams with strategy and growth.
 

Fabindia is banking on Ghosh’s expertise in consumer-facing businesses to help its overcome the Covid-19 crisis and transform its business going forward.
 
Ghosh is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience. He has had multiple roles as the CEO and Board member of complex operations including IndiGo, India's largest airline, and Oyo Hotels & Homes, among others.

Commenting on his appointment to Fabindia’s board, Aditya Ghosh in a statement said, "I am truly excited to come on board and get associated with a brand that I have been a loyal customer and fan of, for decades. Fabindia retails a range of ethnic wear and accessories as well as homeware and other lifestyle items. The brand, which was founded by John Bissell in 1960, has 327 stores across 118 cities in India and 14 international stores.
